Transcripts cannot be requested over the phone. All requests must include the student’s handwritten signature or be submitted through the Student Administration System.
There is no charge for transcripts.

Transcript requests are generally processed within 2-3 business days, however requests received during peak times may take longer. To check the status of a request, please contact the Registrar’s Office. If you need your transcript delivered sooner than that, please see Express Options.
Students who matriculated after 2002 can view their unofficial transcript and/or request their official transcript to be mailed through their account in the Student Administration System.

Students who attended prior to 2002, students who have documents that must be included with their transcript, and students who are unable to use the Student Administration System must submit one of the following forms:

All requests must include the student’s handwritten signature. Note: Transcripts for students who attended prior to 1980 may take additional time to process.
Requesting Transcripts in Person
Current and former students are welcome to come to the Registrar’s Office to request their official or unofficial transcripts in person. Students will need to present a photo I.D. before obtaining their transcripts. The maximum limit of transcripts to receive in person is five(5).
Official transcripts can only be obtained at the Storrs campus, while unofficial transcripts can be obtained at any regional campus.
Official transcripts are sent out only by US Postal Service first class mail, but students can choose to mail their transcripts using an express service at their own expense.
For the Priority/Express Mail service through the US Postal Service, the request must be accompanied by a pre-paid and pre-addressed Express Mail/Priority Mail envelope. All arrangements must be made by the requestor.
